I've lived in Missouri, Illinois & California.
The cluster of states around Missouri tends to be related to trips from there to see relatives or sights.
The strip of states from Illinois, up into the north, then down through Oregon to California is the trip that my family took when moving from Illinois to California. I can vaguelly recall the Badlands and Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, and also Yellowstone which is scattered across three states up there.
The cluster of states around Washington D.C. was a week-long high school trip to our nation's capitol.
Washington, Hawaii, and Nevada were all vacations. Nevada was a frequent vacation place when I was younger due to the skiing up at Lake Tahoe.
wolfieboy and
cindygerb live in Washington. My dad and step-mom will soon live in Hawaii, and already have 4 or 5 properties there. (We stayed in one during our visit.)
Wisconsin and Indiana were work trips to GenCon.
I've ignored places where I've touched the ground, but only to wait in an airport terminal (Arizona, Texas, probably others).
I'd like to get out to the East Coast and see Massachusetts, New York, and others.
