I managed to finish up a few articles for Tradetalk magazine yesterday, one in the morning before I went to work and one in the (very late) evening before I went to bed. Since you're probably not familiar with it, I should note that Tradetalk is a roleplaying magazine centered on Greg Stafford's world of Glorantha that's published out of Germany. I've contributed one or two articles for them every issue from #2 to #11; #12 was the issue I was just writing for.

Counting it all up, I've been contributing content for them since 1997, a span of five years. I've really enjoyed staying in contact with the folks in Germany (and Italy) who put out Tradetalk. Though I've been involved in a couple of other international fannish communities in the past decade, this is the only one I'm really still in touch with.

Originally I'd bowed out of this newest issue, citing not enough time. Fortunately, AJ, the editor for this issue, was quite insistent. Because I had unpublished material for both the world of Glorantha and for the Pendragon RPG I was able to produce about 3,500 words of articles, maybe 1,000-1,500 of that totally new, in 3 of 4 hours worth of time. I *definitely* have time to do that no matter how busy I am.

In any case the article I wrote this time were "Legends of Creation", some mythical world creation stories for the race of elves in Glorantha which I've taken a special affinity to, and "Villains of Logres", an encounter for King Arthur Pendragon originally printed in online form years ago.

I think I'm going to drop a line to the Tradetalk folks volunteering articles for #13 and/or #14 quickly, before my enthusiasm wanes and I start feeling buried by other work again.
