Feeling bad today.
Very tired and worn out. Kimberly was doing her insomniac thing last night, but I still got 8 or 8.5 hours of sleep, so I should be fine. I'm not. Not even the Vanilla Coke caffeine boost at lunch did much good.
Was having some pain this morning when I showered. The good 'ole probably-not-a-hernia pain from the last two months which had largely disappeared but now seems to be making a resurgance. It's about as bad now as it was when I was finishing up my antibiotics in October. Not constantly painfully, but occasionally so, and more frequently distracting. Showers inflame things, I'd guess due to the heat. Walking isn't causing strain yet, but that's probably around the corner.
If things continue heading in this direction, it's time to call the incompetent dumbf***s at the doctor's office and set up another appointment. Tomorrow, if things still seem to be heading in this direction.
Feeling very cranky today too. At those idiots at the family practice, who couldn't diagnose a non-standard illness to save their lives--my general experience with "doctors" over the last decade. At those screwups at funagain.com, who aren't able to ship a package in 3 days, despite their promises of 24-hour handling (which means I'm going to not have new games to play with this weekend, though it'd be really nice because I will probably stay home because of the way I'm feeling). At the overwhelming piles of stuff to do at work right now.
It's all much more manageable when it doesn't feel like the vitality is just being sucked out of me.
