Stick a Fork in Me (GenCon Day 4)

Well, GenCon is now over, and given that I stumbled through most of the day in an exhausted haze I'll say, quite simply, "Thank Gawd."
It took me a second to think exactly what I did today, as I mulled over it here, to write something done. There were a couple of meetings--with some of our coders, and later with one of our partners, over dinner. The dinner was at the RAM, a brewery which CA had gotten quite attached to. It was run by a gamer, and so there were huge game-related decorations and over, and a special menu which included "Goblin (Tastes Like Chicken)", "Troll Fingers", "Black Pudding", and much more. However, I suspect CA kept heading us back there because the staff was friendly and attentive, the food was quite high quality, and the cost was reasonable for a decently nice sit-down place. (In fact, as I may have commented here yesterday, the food was considerably better than the "nice" restaurant we went to yesterday, which is about par for the course in my book.)
I also walked the dealer's room a lot today. CA and I finished talking to every appropriate exhibitor by about 11am in the morning. And so we had a couple more hours to walk the room individually and pick up stuff for ourselves. Besides a $1 (special) core-game supplement, I also got three used graphic novels, which should be great reading for the plane trip back, and a set of short and quick games from Out of the Box. I still have most of my con money, which means DVDs, books, and more graphic novels when I get home (woohoo!). We also picked up a fair amount of review copies for RPGnet. I'll be reviewing some myself, of particularly good look strategy games (and the Dying Earth RPG), and we'll have many more to pass on to the rest of the RPGnet review stuff.
I consumed a couple of (large) Long Island Iced Teas at dinner, and was largely non-tipsy afterward despite poor eating earlier in the day due to lack of appetite. Best I could figure, I was too exhausted to become intoxicated.
As I write, I've just boxed up a large box of review material and stuff CA didn't want to carry home, and have left it with the concierge to ship away for us (Monday or Tuesday). All my bags are packed, minus clothes I'm wearing right now. I think I'm largely beyond exhaustion, into that numb disbelief stage, in concert with a bunch of sore muscles, from hauling stuff around, standing about all day, walking around and around and around, and sleeping on a slightly uncomfortable bed.
As the subject says, stick a fork in me (I'm done). I'm unfortunately hanging around Indy most of the day tomorrow, because my flight is in the early evening. I'm planning to explore the skywalk system, see what they've done with their local Union Station, and maybe run by a nearby science museum before I catch a cab out to the airport. At least I'll get home early enough (in the late evening) to have a little bit of downtime before bed.
