The History Book: Week #49A
Feb. 27th, 2011 12:11 amThus far this weekend:
White Wolf and Wizards of the Coast were the big looming shadows, so I'm feeling pretty good.
Still:
Looks a bit daunting when you put it like that! Still, I think it'll mostly be done tomorrow, with some tiny things to finish on Monday night.
- Added some missing text to White Wolf and did a final polish of the entire (long) article.
- Integrated all comments on Hogshead Publishing and did a final edit.
- Discovered that I didn't have anything remaining on Pagan Publishing other than a one-word addition from a comment.
- Discovered that I did, however, have comments on Pelgrane Publishing, integrated them, and did a final polish for good measure.
- Did a final polish on Paizo Publishing, because I wasn't sure if I had or not, based on the state of my filing info for that article.
- Dove into the Wizards of the Coast article that I'd finished last week, edited through the entire ~27,500 word article over the course of about 10 hours, in the process cutting it by about 1,500 words (to the article's benefit) and also cutting some of my snider thoughts over how they've been flailing in the last year and a half or so
- Cleared some Chrome tabs I'd had related to Pelgrane and WotC.
- Processed all 75 scans that I got recently at Games of Berkeley.
- Scanned most of the remaining books needed from my collection and started thinking more seriously about logos (which I'd forgotten until I returned to my emails on the book a few days ago. Oops!)
White Wolf and Wizards of the Coast were the big looming shadows, so I'm feeling pretty good.
Still:
- Comment inclusion & re-editing for: Catalyst, Creations Unlimited, Guardians of Order, SkyRealms.
- Five chrome tabs which offer small additions to various articles.
- Hypertextual links for the latter half of the articles
- Section dividers
- Processing of my own recent scans + scans sent to me over the last few weeks + final list of credits for RPGnet scanners
- Collection of as many logos as I can get
- If I have the time, about three pages of additional material (Greyhawk in 2e; All about Glorantha; all about Tekumel)
