Sinking Snow Work
Feb. 25th, 2011 08:06 pmWe have a new bathroom. More or less. We had a plumber in a few days ago to fix the sink in our upstairs bathroom. I'd had troubles changing out the faucet for years and was happy to see that when the plumber came in he had to saw the damn old one out. Yay. No wimp, I. And we have a warmer bathroom now, nearer to my office, even if shared with cats.
We have no snow. Damned weather forecasters. I've never seen sea-level snow in the Bay Area, and I had my hopes up ... until yesterday when it was warmer than my frigid ride to EndGame and back had been Wednesday night. Damned forecasters.
I did get to see exciting snow weather icons, though, which I'd also never before seen in the Bay Area.
I have a working weekend. But the last one. RPG History Book is due on Monday. I just finished off my final draft of Hogshead Publishing, one of the few companies still waiting to be done. Wizards of the Coast needs a final edit, while Creations Unlimited, Guardians of Order, and Pagan Publishing need to be integrated with comments, and several Chrome tabs need to be cleared, I need to finish up my hypertextual links, and I need to write my section dividers. And I need to process another 100-150 covers. As I said, working weekend. And Monday night. But it looks very doable.
And then I will have not-working weekend. Or two.
