In the days, months, and years ahead, when terrorists again strike at the United States--once more killing innocent civilians--remember that it was because of the militaristic attitudes toward the Islam world expressed by "President" Bush jr., and other like him. Remember that it was because George Bush decided to invade Iraq in opposition to the rest of the world, resting the blame solely on his, and thus our, shoulders.

Even as I write, the United State's various spook organizations are upping defenses to try and prevent the suicide attacks which will be the obvious and expected results of our invading Iraq in order to feed George Bush's bottomless gluttony for oil. And, they'll be as useless as the terrorist defenses of European countries that have decades of experience fighting the problem. Unless a state is turned totally fascist, there will never be a way to stop killers who don't care for their own lives.

There were reasons for the terrible events of 9/11, that explain though do not excuse what was done on that day. There were reasons--based on decades of imperialistic American relations with the Arab world--that are never reported by the national media, because it's easier for them to present the United States as hero, not as villain or neutral in-between.

When the next hundred or thousand or ten thousand American people die because of a terrorist attack, remember that this is the reason, that "President" George Bush decided to pay-off his energy and corporate sponsors with your innocent blood and your sense of security.

Was referred to your journal by a friend of mine. She and I have been discussing the war and media censorship for quite some time, and she told me I should check out your journal. I could write a long, complex post on why I am reluctantly supporting war in Iraq, but instead, I'll just reference this report (http://web.amnesty.org/ai.nsf/Index/MDE140131999?OpenDocument&of=COUNTRIES\IRAQ) from Amnesty International and this article (http://www.accessatlanta.com/ajc/opinion/0303/17special_wiesel.html) by Elie Wiesel, who expressed what I am feeling far more eloquently than I ever could. My friend was banned from your journal, as I fully expect to be, but since you put your opinion out there, I thought I'd do the same.
