Drugs Be Gone

I finished taking my Penicillin yesterday and I'm very happy to see it gone. Though it's nice to have it kill off the deadly bacteria, I didn't appreciate the nausea and the digestion problems*. So, 14 days and 42 pills later, that is done. And hopefully things will start returning to normal now ...
My deep fatigue and fevers seems to have faded away, so I'm also hopeful that it did it's job**.
On the downside, my head still isn't right, and thus all the drugs aren't actually gone. I'm still taking decongestants and (sadly) occasional analgesics. I'm only supposed to take the decongestants through tomorrow, and the PA I talked to last week indicated that things should be better by then, else I should make a new appointment.
Things have been better, just not good, so I have some faith in progress here, and that the doctors aren't running down the totally wrong road. But today in particular I've had a slight headache, sinus pressure, and concentration problems. Probably the worst it's been since last Thursday, when I made my last appointment. At this point it looks like I'll be making an appointment (again) next week, unless I see improvement in the next 5 days.
Very, very sick of being sick.
* Nor the fact that it made my feet smell like Penicillin.
** Though I'll now remain vigilant for weeks or months. "Is that a fever? Do I feel fatigued!?" I hate not being in control.
