Next Week

I am taking next week off. It's going to be real honest-to-goodness vacation, but I'm not actually going anywhere. I'm expect to rest, relax, and kick-back, but at the same time I want to do a lot of writing.

I've done this type of working vacation before.

Here's my goals for next week:

• Shut down erzo.org.
• Cleanup the junk room (now that the little corner of tech stuff will be disappearing).
• Move the white cedar chest up to the junk room, creating more walking space in the dining room.
• Write 10,000-20,000 words of the elf book, starting with the new sections on blue, red, and yellow elves.
• Work on ICE history and any others that I want to get into.
• Read lots of books, and generally R&R.
• Play The Temple of Elemental Evil computer game (if it arrives).

I've cleverly (perhaps) made sure that I have no immediate obligations next week. TT&T and GG (which are each now biweekly) each ran today. My next Brief History will run on Monday.
