Recovery Weekend
May. 8th, 2005 11:01 pmWell, I was hoping to get some stuff done this weekend, and I did a little, but not a lot, and in particular no writing. I suppose that's not too big of a surprise given that the last weekend was entirely traumatic and exhausting.
I hung some pictures up around the house on Friday. That was good. We've never gotten all of Kimberly's prints up since we moved into this house, and as a result many are scattered about, particularly in her office. I got three up on Friday and we now have nice prints over our upstairs hallway bookcase, at the top landing of our stairs, and in thedininggaming room. There's still several more, but I couldn't find any nails good enough for the next one I wanted to put up, and so that was that. (I'm not sure if the wall I want to put it in can support it either, since the wall is a late addition to the house.)
Saturday was gaming, and I got the fourth volume of Invincible while I was out. Damned fine book. Today was shopping, TV, napping, and computer gaming. Not much else. Kimberly and I just Dance Dance Revolutioned which neither of us had done in a week or more (a week in my case, more in hers) due to injuries. I'd strained my right foot or something, but it's better now.
I'm really feeling at lose ends tonight, possibly because the stress and tension of the last week is finally abating. But I'm wandering around the house, not really feeling like I have much to do and looking forward to going back to work tomorrow.
Shrug.
Tomorrow's another day.
