Sure, but what's also impressive is how fast congress can actually act when it wants to. I doubt that will get a lot of press, but when you see the government actually do the right thing quickly, it becomes harder to understand how slow things move normally. Sure, do-not-call is semi-simple so therefor should be fast, but how long has congress sat on things like health care reform? I'm sure 50 million people would like to see the health care system improve, but we just don't see it really happening. Why not? Why do we accept slow and intermittent progress on most things when its obvious the government can move quickly when it wants to.
