I was so mad at CVS today I had to find somewhere to write about it and found your post. I read your post and can relate. We used to have Longs as our local pharmacies until CVS took over this year. Of course the first thing they have to do is completely change the store around, why? I do not know because everyone hates it. I used to be able to upload photos online to Longs and they would be ready at the store in an hour. Now I have to upload them online and wait days for them to be sent to the store, ended up going to Rite Aid for that. Also, we used to get discounted items at Longs without having to use a stupid discount card so now I just fill a card application out with all false information, just to get the stupid piece of plastic. And don't think for a second that they are not tying your medication information to the products you buy in other areas of the store. Anyhow, I miss Longs. Also, last month I went there to pick up a presciption for tooth work and they said they needed another hour or so, so I walk around the store go to the 99cent store, etc, come back and it's still not ready. Walk around 20 more minutes, still not ready. I walk back up and this guy at the counter says "I'm sorry I need to get on the computer to fill your prescription and I have been busy handling these people in the line". I was thinking OMG he did't. Keep in mind there are like 5 employees back there. I looked at him right in is face in front of everyone said "I don't care who is in line. You are supposed to be helping people in order. This is my 3nd time in line waiting for you people, now go get on the computer and take care of my prescription". I was so mega-pissed. So I had to wait like 20 more minutes and the poor lady who was handling my prescription looked terrified of me. I will be filling at Wallgreens from now on or maybe even give Wal-Mart a shot. You know I'm only 28, way too young for these people to make me all crotchety acting.
