Posted at RPGnet today is my review of The Settlers of Nurnberg, a standalone German game that adapts the Catan game system. I liked it quite a bit:Oh, and I did indeed use SneakerNet to get this review to the world. I wrote it at home, plugged in a Zip drive to my mac, copied the review to a zip disk, unplugged the zip drive, carried it to work, plugged the zip drive in, then copied the file over.
SneakerNet! Crappy response time (we're talking about an hour minimum round trip for a packet), but great throughput (as much data as can fit in my backpack).
