The Writing She Be Hard
Jan. 5th, 2016 10:23 pmFive days in, I've discovered that this write-a-journal-entry-every-day thing is hard.
I mean, today was not an eventful day. I worked all day, helping Christopher put together a Web of Trust related web site. Then I ate dinner (and watched episode 3.4 of Orphan Black). Then Kimberly and I went for a walk into downtown Berkeley and through campus, since I hadn't left the house during the day. (And since the rain had stopped.) And since then I've been doing various bits of reading and other miscellaneous work (like sorting out all the cards to play Wrath of the Righteous this Thursday, and [after I post this] putting new Monkey Lights on my new bike).
I suppose it's notable that I'm feeling unwell again. Nothing infectious (one presumes), but some chronic problems I'd been having in November are recurring. Very annoying. They'd mostly faded away But I'm seeing my GP on Friday for my annual physical, a process that I started ... back in November when I was feeling unwell. So we'll talk then, look over my first (inconclusive) tests, and see where to go next.
And that's pretty much today. But the point of trying this write-for-a-month thingy was that it might be hard, and I might end up writing on other stuff than usual as a result.
