Another Flat!
May. 4th, 2011 11:12 pmAgh! On the way to Endgame today. So much for new, puncture-resistant tires.
(I'll actually wait on that verdict; once could be bad luck, but if it happens again soon I'll start to get suspicious of the tires sold me.)
The flat occurred on Telegraph, as is almost always the case. Maybe I should start staying off that street. The fact that it's the quickest route starts to be less true when I have to walk and/or fix my tire every 20 or so trips. Though, as I told some folks at Endgame, unless I'm in the middle of nowhere--or in Oakland after dark--I usually mind the fixing more than the walking. There were nonetheless two bits that made me nervous walking, even in the day: under the underpass past MacArthur BART and in the 20s.
So, bike tire to fix. The front one this time.
