The History Book: Week #47
Feb. 11th, 2011 10:21 pmA bit sad that I am keeping myself sufficiently busy in my "free" time working on the history book that I rarely come up for air long enough to actually write my status on the history book. (Though, generally, these statuses have brilliantly served their purpose, which was to keep me going on the book over an extended period where it would have been easy to slack off.)
In any case, my biggest project last week was Pinnacle Entertainment. I'd saved them until nearly the end because I really had no idea what they were up to in the previous three years. (The answer seems to be a bit of Solomon Kane and a solid return to Deadlands, as all old is new again.) That leaves two that are fundamentally incomplete Palladium (which I've been working on throughout the last week) and Wizards of the Coast (which I've already spent a few weeks on long ago).
I also did my serious final editorial pass on Evil Hat, and put out some reminders to folks reading my other final new articles.
And I've been kicking butt on the cover-scanning project that's going hand in hand with the book finale. I got several great covers from people for stuff that I was missing (and some of those people are getting covers from clubs and from friends, which is totally amazing) and in the meantime scanned through all the highlights of my Chaosium collection.
Tomorrow I'm going to continue that by going in to Endgame well before my game to scan new and used stuff they have on hand, thanks to their amazingly kind generosity. Go Endgame!
