A Quiet Saturday
May. 1st, 2010 08:16 pmYup, no gaming again. We had the kind of minimal group we've had lately, and then a class got moved later and so we had one drop and after that the rest of the dominos fell. Ah well, we had two weeks in a row, so I can't complain too much. I actually prefer to have the occasional Saturday off than to continuously game every week.
I biked around a bit today, hit some used books stores, and generally enjoyed the sunshine. I got up above the Claremont, and did better at that hill than I have before, but still opted to come back home rather than to push it more. That's because I'm hoping to feel up to a larger ride tomorrow, covering some of the Bay Trail that I haven't yet ridden.
The rest of the day was a bit of reading and a bit of writing. Trying to finish up the history book work I wanted to do for the week so that my tomorrow is entirely clear ...
