Mar. 6th, 2010 10:41 pmWeird Sight of the Day. A one-legged guy bicycling. OK, not really one legged, but his right leg was in a full cast, and thus it was jutting off the bike at a 10 or 15 degree angle, while his left leg pumped up and down, doing all the work. Impressively, he kept on at about on my pace. But, it was a beautiful day and so I was just soaking in the sun and enjoying the ride, rather than biking down to Oakland as fast as I could go. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Not quite sure how you get on and off a bike with one leg in a cast.
Attempted Suicide! My bike computer tried to kill itself, throwing itself down on the street just past 40th & Telegraph. Lucky me, when I pulled over to the side and stopped, I discovered there were no cars anywhere near me. I was able to run back and grab it. (I thought it was going to go the same way of my squished pepper spray.) Note to self: try and secure computer better.
Gaming, Gaming, Gaming. We got back to D&D today after a break of a month and a half, and we finished off adventure 10 of the Savage Tide adventure path. After 55 sessions, we're getting very close to the end. Whew! This should be one of my more successful campaign runs, barring no major problems before the end.
Party Interrupted. Kimberly and I were going to go out to a birthday party for Katherine, but Kimberly ended up too sick to go. Ah well. Happy Birthday, Katherine!
