Hawaii, Day the Second
Jan. 28th, 2010 10:15 pmAnother day here in Hawaii, and a particularly relaxed one. We went out to swim this morning at Poipu. On the way we stopped by Snorkel Bob's and my dad bought me a prescription mask, so that I'll always have a snorkeling mask that I can see with here(!!). My dad and I afterward swam back and forth the length of the Poipu Beach. Saw some fish, but mostly relaxed.
Dad had some things to do in Lihue today for his church, so K. and I hung out, read some Harry Dresden (now, working on book #5), and later I napped for a bit.
Tomorrow we're chatting about maybe walking a trail out at Poipu called the Hapa Trail and probably we'll swim again too ... My dad is also going to be making chicken tacos. I'm quite looking forward to it, as he used to make tacos sometimes on the weekends I spent with him.
