Cats, Dances, RPGnet
Feb. 24th, 2007 10:34 amIt looks like Munchkin is fine. After a very rough Wednesday, she's been mostly fine since. At the advice of doctor, the cats were both getting baby food Thursday and Friday, but Cobweb started boycotting it Friday, and seemed to be encouraging Munchkin toward the same, so they were returned to normal food Friday night. It seems to have settled fine with her.
Whew. I was very worried about my poor kitty.
After the January of sickness I've been getting back to Dance, Dance Revolution. After years, I've finally begun to brave the third level of difficulty. It's quite tough, with lots of hopping (which I'm pretty good at) and lots of half-steps (which I'm still trying to figure out), but at least I feel like I'm learning how to do it. Before when I'd tried the third level a few times I'd just felt totally spastic.
And, the third level is clearly a lot more work than the earlier ones, which is starting to really give me the c-v workout I'd been wanting.
Gaming today, back to the Temple of Elemental Evil, then writing the rest of the weekend -- as usual. January and February have again been good writing months. I'm going to put together a list of what I've accomplished, mainly for my own reference, later this weekend.
Ugh it was a week of frustrating work at RPGnet. I started work on the long-promised magazine functionality for the RPGnet Index and it ended up in a lot of redefinition of the Index, redesigning of databases, and rewriting of old (big) functions. Still not done. I'm guessing another day to finish rewriting the add-entry functionality and another day to write the new add-magazine functionality and polish up the infrastructure I've already put in place.
But then we can put magazines into the index, which will be a big plus, and after another day of work or so, short stories anthologies can more properly be entered into Xenagia.
