Friday night I said to Kim, "I want to write 5 reviews this weekend".

That was 5 reviews ago.

They're now all lined up at RPGnet: a Forgotten Realms: Homeland (comic) review for Monday, a review of Railroad Tycoon for Wednesday (which I'd wanted to do last week, and would have if not for work-related trauma that day), a Mall of Horror review also for Wednesday (helpfully after a second play on Saturday), a David & Goliath review for a week from Wednesday, and a revision of my Tigris & Euphrates review also for a week from Wednesday (because I like to use the slightly more dead review days around Thanksgiving and Christmas to revise some of my very oldest, and now slightly embarassing reviews).

I've found a sixth that I'd like to do if possible, a review of Escape from Monster Island, and that's what I'm working on next.

This is, as you might guess, trip preparation for me. For various reasons I've felt behind on these reviews. (RRT because I wanted it out a week ago, D&G because the games been sitting around for a few months, the comic and the RPG book because they've likewise been around for a long time).

Since last week I did my most pertinent trip preparation (that'd be finding my passport and the tickets), I felt a little more leisure to do this sort of thing this week.

And so I did.

Tomorrow and Tuesday I'll have to go into full packing mode, but I'm expecting that to be pretty casual. I mean, we're going to have a washer & dryer at the condo and I've already got my books mostly ready to go, so what's there to stress about? Just the early morning wakeup on trip day.

Putting Skotos stuff away on those days will be more work & ultimately more stressful.
