Games to Buy
Sep. 1st, 2005 10:45 amIt has been many, many months since I've bought any new games. GenCon offered a nice infusion of review copies, many of which were highly anticipated (Parthenon, Alexander the Great, Conquest of the Empire), but the games from companies that don't send out review copies are starting to build up.
Here's my list of things I want next time I have money, so that I don't lose track of it:
And some review copies to look forward to in the coming month: Railroad Tycoon and Reiner Knizia's Poison.
Here's my list of things I want next time I have money, so that I don't lose track of it:
- Palazzo - Aleas remain on my must-buy list.
- Tower of Babel - Played last night & quite enjoyed.
- Through the Desert - Now that it's finally available in the U.S. again.
- Rheinlander - Maybe. Quite expensive.
- Fjords - Though Kimberly hasn't been playing many two player games lately, and especially not new ones.
- Arkhitekton - Ditto, plus some indifferent press, but I like Schacht's games. Really, I'm interested by all these new little Queen games because they have attractive boxes.
- Niagara - Probably. A bit light, but well received.
