Time Moves on for this Collector
Feb. 4th, 2005 05:01 pmA couple of days ago, when I was doing a web-search for more info on The Bats of Mercille, one of the items I'm now selling, I came across the following newsgroup posting in Google groups:
A Humorous Posting
Yep, that was me searching for two of those three items I'm now selling, which answers the question of where I'd managed to find these things (the possible answer: USENET newsgroups; I'd forgotten that they were pretty good resources).
Anyway, the date was September 16, 1992, a long, long time ago.
Looking over that list, I found the Ars Magica, Hidden Kingdom, RuneQuest supplements, and Traveller supplements, and all the magazines except White Wolf #1 (though I've since had someone offer it to me, many years later).
I found some Man, Myth & Magic stuff, but it's now gone; I probably gave it away.
I never found Pendragon 2nd Edition because it didn't exist (they skipped straight from 1st to 3rd as far as I've ever been able to tell, which is pretty typical Chaosium), nor the Creeks & Crawdads supplement (which I don't even know why I was looking for, since I don't think I've ever owned the base game).
My Ars Magica sale is looking well. After a reminder to my old ars-magica list the price jumped straight up to $200 for the lot, which is what I'd been guessing. That'll be nice money for me to buy new games with, despite what our idiot president has done to the exchange rates, and hopefully some nice collectibles for the buyers.
A Humorous Posting
I've been looking for a couple of different games for some time. If anyone
has any of the following, and thinks they might be interested in selling them,
let me know. I'd be willing to give good prices on all of them.

Anyways, thanks for your time. If you've got any of these around, just
taking up space, please drop me a line. Some of them are somewhat obscure,
and I've been trying to get ahold of them for ages.
Thanks,
Shannon
