Redcap & Ars Magica
Jan. 29th, 2005 05:02 pmWeekends without gaming always seem like long weekends because I have so much free time.
Last night I got a bug to play around with graphics & I ended up mocking up a banner for Project Redcap, the Ars Magica links site. I was very pleased with the results:

Feel free to use it (make a copy please, don't link to me) if you want to give a link to David Chart's listing of Ars Magica web pages.
For those interested in Ars Magica, here's the link to my own set of pages, not updated in 6+ years, other than adding this graphic I just made:
Shannon's ArM Page

Amusing to see how much my graphical sense has evolved since I put together the original page, which I thought was quite good for my own artistic skills in 1998 or so. In fact, for amusement value, you can see the original link I created for the Redcap site at right. The "hat" is actually the same as the one I use within my new banner, but as you can see I've learned how to touch up and manipulate line art a bit better, to give it a more organic feel.
