Tiring Week

Well, it's been a tiring week. As I wrote last week I picked up something or another at WonderCon. Since Friday or so I've been mildly sick. I couldn't concentrate at all on Friday, and finally gave up on work, but that was the worst of it. Since then I've just had troubles sleeping, had high muscle tension, especially in the morning, fatigue, and had low-grade headaches. But nothing worse.

The last few days have been better, but I still opted out of going to EndGame last night. Instead I stayed home, prepared my Stormbringer game for Saturday, wrote most of a review of Artesia: Adventures in the Known World, and watched a couple of episodes of Homicide, season 6, with Kimberly.

I'd been really worried about s6 because of the general decline of an originally brilliant show, but it's not too bad. It's still a very talky police show, with the shootouts and the car chases infrequent. And we still get to see some of the great characters that we met in s1 (though about half of them have been replaced by this point).

At work I've been doing some boring stuff, including columns maintenance and (most importantly) accounting. I'm hoping to have that all out of my hair by the end-of-day tomorrow, so that I can start a new week with new energy and more interesting stuff to do.
