I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked,Radio stations are now afraid to air Allan Ginsburg's "Howl" because the filthy villains in Washington have crippled free speech on our national airwaves.
dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix;
Angel-headed hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection
to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night.
Fuck them.

(I can't say I like the poem, but I hate the censorship and the atmosphere of ignorance and fear which Bush and his thought-controlling cronies have created.)
