Hawaii

I don't know why, but I've been fantasizing about Hawaii lately. I've been having very visceral memories of what it's like and have been yearning to be there. I can feel the trade winds blowing, the warm sun soaking down. I can hear the waves beating upon the shores of the beaches. I can smell the salt water. I want to be there, to be able to swim out into the ocean every day, to curl up in a naturally cooled house, sand still between my toes, and to drop a notebook computer into my lap and work from there.

Perhaps it's Winter so quickly descending, with its gray days and long nights, perhaps it was Kimberly being on a vacation of her own (of sorts) last week, I dunno, but Hawaii just sounds so beautiful right now, so clean, and so restful.
